The foreign ministers of the EU Member States adopted, on Monday 24 April, sanctions against eight individuals and one entity, deemed “responsible for serious human rights violations in Iran”.
Those subject to the measures are two “hardline” Iranian legislators, the deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Qom province, as well as the chair, vice-chair and three board members of the IRGC Cooperative Foundation, a foundation sanctioned by the EU.
