Commission investigates possible cartels in fashion sector

The European Commission announced on Tuesday 18 April that it has launched a series of unannounced inspections at the premises of companies in the fashion sector in several Member States. The Commission acted on suspicion of violations of EU competition rules prohibiting cartels and restrictive business practices.

These operations are separate from the inspections in June 2021 and May 2022 (see EUROPE B12955A30).
