Monica Semedo suspended again for psychological harassment

18/04/2023 (Agence Europe) – In plenary session on Tuesday 18 April, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, announced sanctions against MEP Monica Semedo (Renew Europe, Luxembourgish) for psychological harassment, for the second time. Ms Semedo is suspended and deprived of her allowance for a period of 10 days, “due to her behaviour towards an accredited parliamentary assistant, which constitutes psychological harassment”.
