EU condemns arrest of Wall Street Journal journalist

31/03/2023 (Agence Europe) – On the evening of Thursday 30 March, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, condemned the detention in Russia of Evan Gershkovich - a US citizen and journalist for the Wall Street Journal. “The Russian authorities are once again demonstrating their systematic disregard for media freedom”, Borrell said on Twitter.
