European Commission registers new Italian PGI

23/03/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday, 23 March, the European Commission announced that it had approved the addition of Italy’s ‘Olio Campania’ to the Community register of protected geographical indications (PGI). The name ‘Olio Campania’ is reserved for extra-virgin olive oil obtained from olives produced exclusively in Campania.
