Transport on agenda of European Parliament/EU Council negotiations on Renewable Energy Directive

The sixth inter-institutional negotiations on the Renewable Energy Directive will take place on Tuesday 21 March. They will focus on the transport chapter, which could not be addressed during the last negotiations between the European Parliament and the Council on 6 March (see EUROPE B13136A2). The final trilogue is expected to take place on 29 March, but the conclusions could be “weakened“ by fragmented political positions in both the Parliament and the Council.
