Industrial Emissions Directive, Member States are working to make progress so that EU Council can adopt its position on 16 March

EU Member States have made good progress on the revision of the Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75/EU, the so-called ‘IED’ Directive), proposed in April 2022, but further discussions will be needed, particularly on the issue of livestock unit thresholds - the thorniest one, initially a major concern for both EU Agriculture and Environment Ministers (see EUROPE B13049A3).
