Covid-19, European Commission authorises France to compensate Air France to tune of €1.4 billion

The European Commission validated, on Thursday 16 February, €1.4 billion in French State aid for Air France.

This measure aims at compensating the airline for the damage suffered between 17 March and 30 June 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and the travel restrictions in place to limit the spread of the virus.
