At a time when the chances of finding survivors are dwindling in Turkey and Syria after earthquakes that have already left more than 35,000 people dead, over 100,000 injured and potentially millions homeless, according to the UN, the European Parliament stands in full solidarity with the stricken populations in the two countries hit by a disaster of unprecedented scale in the last 100 years and calls on all actors to depoliticise aid.
