GDP growth estimated at 0.1% in fourth quarter of 2022 and 3.5% for whole year in euro area

In the euro area, seasonally adjusted GDP rose by 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2022 and the annual growth rate was 3.5% for the whole of last year, according to the preliminary estimate published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Tuesday 31 January.

In the EU, GDP remained stable in the fourth quarter of last year and the annual growth rate increased by 3.6% over the year 2022.
