25/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 24 January, the ambassadors of the EU Member States decided to appoint Markus Ritter as Head of the EU Mission to Armenia (EUMA) from 24 January 2023 to 20 February 2024, according to the legal act published on 25 January. On Monday 23 January, the EU Council decided to establish the EUMA mission (see EUROPE B13105A5). Mr Ritter, a German national, was, among other things, the Head of the EU Advisory Mission in Iraq (EUAM Iraq). (CG)
