Swedish Presidency of EU Council wants to make progress on seat of European body ‘AMLA’

05/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – Sweden has announced in its programme for the Presidency of the EU Council that it wants to take forward negotiations on the establishment of the new European Anti-Money Laundering Authority, ‘AMLA’. The Member States have reached an agreement on the details of this new EU body(see EUROPE B12982A17), but the question of the seat remains unresolved.
