EU industrial investment in research and development increases in 2021

13/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – EU industrial investment in research and development (R&D) jumped in 2021 to 8.9% higher than in 2020, according to the latest figures from the European Commission, published on Tuesday 13 December. This is a strong increase, especially compared to 2020 when EU industrial investment decreased by 2.2% due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, behind this apparent good news, European investments remain behind the global level, with a year-on-year increase of 14.8%...
