MEPs come together to challenge six-month closure of Europe’s eel fishery

On the initiative of MEP Irène Tolleret (Renew Europe, French), 18 MEPs of different nationalities came together on Thursday 8 December to defend eel fishermen, in view of the negotiations in the EU Council on total allowable catches (TACs) for 2023.
