EU deplores deadly strikes in Tigray and calls for permanent ceasefire

15/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European External Action Service deplored, on Wednesday 14 September, the deadly strikes in Tigray. “We have to regret that the two drone airstrikes that hit Mekelle yesterday and earlier today endanger, once again, the very fragile hope for peace in Ethiopia”, the EEAS said in a statement issued on Wednesday evening. “Peace talks are the only way forward.
