European Commission proposes quota of 15,777 tonnes for southern anchovy in 2022/2023

09/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 9 September, the European Commission proposed a Total Allowable Catch (TAC) of 15,777 tonnes for anchovy (final TAC) for the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023. The forecast is 7,546 tonnes for Spain and 8,231 tonnes for Portugal (southern stock of anchovy).
