Summer 2022 warmest ever recorded in Europe, according to Copernicus data

08/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – The summer of 2022 was the warmest ever recorded by the Copernicus Climate Change Service, according to its data released on Thursday 8 September. Globally, the average temperature in August was 0.3°C above the average between 1991 and 2020. The average temperature in Europe was the highest on record for both August and the summer (June to August), with substantial margins of 0.8°C compared to 2018 for August and 0.4°C compared to 2021 for the same period....
