Revision of EED directive, French Presidency of EU Council is trying to secure an agreement between Member States

In the face of continuing concerns among Member States about the revision of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) (2018/2002), the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union submitted a new draft compromise to them on Monday 20 June with a view to reaching an agreement (‘general approach’) at the meeting of EU energy ministers on 27 June.
