Brussels, 17/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 15 June, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced the start of the ongoing evaluation of a messenger RNA vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and adapted to one or more variants of concern of SARS-CoV-2. This procedure, which precedes and accelerates the formal evaluation phase, will first focus on the manufacturing aspects of the vaccine.
