Industry and NGO coalition calls on EU co-legislators to establish hydrogen quota for maritime transport

17/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – A coalition of more than 40 organisations, including energy suppliers, shipping companies and NGOs, sent a letter to the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union on Friday 17 June asking them to introduce a minimum quota of synthetic fuels (e-fuels) for maritime transport in the EU. In their opinion, the sector should have a binding target to reach a 6% share of synthetic fuel use by 2030, as part of the FuelEU Maritime initiative....
