European Parliament appoints a member of selection committee which will elect next European Chief Prosecutor

31/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – MEPs of the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) appointed one of the 12 members of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) selection committee on Monday 30 May. However, this appointment has to be confirmed in plenary, probably in June. They chose Margreet Fröberg, a prosecutor in the Netherlands.
