Europêche welcomes “major improvements” in management of bigeye tuna in Indian Ocean

25/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 24 May, the Europêche organisation welcomed the decisions taken by the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) providing for a “management procedure for bigeye tuna that will allow for the first time to set a total allowable catch (TAC) in 2024”.
