European Commission says digitalisation of justice in EU still needs improvement

On Thursday, 19 May, the European Commission published its 2022 EU Justice Scoreboard, which notably reveals that there is still progress to be made in Member States in order to digitalise justice.

This tool has been analysing developments in the EU’s justice systems for the past 10 years; according to this year’s edition—despite new measures introduced since the Covid-19 pandemic—Member States need, overall, to accelerate reforms to modernise their systems.
