On Monday 16 May, the European Commission authorised €404 million in Swedish support to help disadvantaged workers access the labour market.
The aim of the support is to enable newly arrived immigrants and the long-term unemployed to enter the Swedish labour market and to set up a system of compensation for workers receiving a lower salary for work carried out in these positions.
