February euro area inflation estimated at 5.8%

02/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – According to a flash estimate published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Wednesday 2 March, annual inflation in the euro area is estimated at 5.8% in February, up from 5.1% in January. Inflation is highest in Lithuania (13.9%) and Estonia (12.4%), while it is lowest in France and Finland (both 4.3%).
