European Commission launches consultation on illegal discharges of waste from ships at sea

10/12/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 9 December, the European Commission opened a public consultation on the revision of EU rules on illegal discharges from ships at sea. The revision of the current rules is intended to bring them into line with the Directive requiring ships to deliver their waste to ports (2019/883).
