Green light for EUR 37.4 million support for construction of high-efficiency cogeneration plant on island of Réunion

26/08/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 26 August, the European Commission authorised EUR 37.4 million in investment aid for the construction of a high-efficiency cogeneration plant on the French island of Réunion. This plant will produce heat from waste treatment and electricity for over 10,000 homes. Commissioning of the facility is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.
