European Commission officially launches European Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS)

25/08/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Saturday 31 July, the European Commission published its decision to launch the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS), an IT tool with which to implement the Clinical Trials Regulation from 31 January 2022. According to Commissioner for Health Stella Kyriakides, the regulation, when fully implemented, will ensure greater protection for clinical trial participants while further strengthening support for human clinical trials.
