17/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – The annual inflation rate in the euro area was 2.0% in May, compared with 1.6% in April, the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) confirmed in data published on Thursday 17 June. In the EU, it was 2.3% in May, compared with 2.0% in April.
