European Parliament committee submits opinion on future transatlantic trade relationship

On Thursday 17 June, MEPs on the European Parliament’s Committee on International Trade (INTA) adopted their draft opinion on the future of EU-US relations by 39 votes to 2 with 1 abstention. The European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) is responsible for this own-initiative report. The text echoes the EU-US summit of 15 June in Brussels and its announcements (see EUROPE B12741A1, B12741A2 and B12741A3).
