The Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU, together with the European Commission, expressed optimism at the informal meeting of Agriculture Ministers in Lisbon on Tuesday 15 June that a political agreement on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) could be reached by the end of June.
