Documentary Collective wins first ever LUX Audience Award

The President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, awarded the LUX Audience Prize on Wednesday 9 June to the documentary Collective, directed by Romanian Alexander Nanau.

Collective (Colectiv in the original)—also nominated for the 2021 Oscars—follows the investigation by a team of journalists after a nightclub fire in 2015 in Bucharest that killed 27 young people and injured 180 others.
