On Wednesday 9 June, the European Commission sent a letter of formal notice to Hungary, asking the country to implement the December 2020 Court of Justice judgment on asylum procedures.
This judgment had, among other things, convinced Frontex to suspend its activities in Hungary (see EUROPE B12625A30, B12646A6).
