European Commission invites citizens to have their say on data collection for vehicle checks

08/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission is inviting citizens to give their views on a draft implementing measure regarding the rules for the collection of data pertaining to vehicle checks from Tuesday 8 June, for a period of 4 weeks. The current regulation (2018/858) includes strict market surveillance obligations for EU Member States. It also allows the European Commission and third parties to carry out checks on vehicles.
