EU agri-food trade down in January 2021, says European Commission
Brussels, 06/05/2021 (Agence Europe)

Published on Thursday 6 May by the European Commission, the latest monthly report on agri-food trade shows a decrease in EU agri-food exports of 11% compared to January 2020, reaching a total value of €13.5 billion.

This drop comes after a long period of continuous increases in exports.

Imports in January 2021 attained €9.1 billion, which is 16% less than in January 2020.
