26/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – Pursuing its objective of a more assertive European trade policy, the European Commission will publish, on Wednesday 5 May, its legislative proposal for an instrument to combat unfair State subsidies that certain non-Member State companies operating in the EU may receive. This proposal will follow a June 2020 white paper to fight against unfair foreign subsidies to non-Member State companies operating in the Internal Market (see EUROPE B12508A1). (LM)
