Copernicus data indicates climate significantly worsened in Europe in 2020

22/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – According to the latest European State of the Climate report (ESOTC 2020) published on Thursday, 22 April, by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), 2020 was the warmest year on record, at more than 1.6°C above average. The annual temperature for Europe was the highest on record—namely, 0.4°C warmer than the five warmest years during the last decade.
