According to WindEurope, almost €43 billion invested in new wind farms in Europe in 2020

A report published on Tuesday, 13 April, by WindEurope indicates that, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, €42.8 billion was invested in new wind farms in Europe—the second highest amount ever recorded.

These investments cover 20 GW of new capacity expected to be built in the coming years, including 13 GW in the European Union.
