30/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Union has made little progress in improving overall employment, according to the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), which published an update of the Decent Work Index on Tuesday 30 March. According to the index, in 2019, 19 Member States were below their 2010 level, including those most affected by austerity measures, such as Greece, Italy and Spain.
