€220 million in EU support for fruit, vegetables and milk at school in 2021-2022

19/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission adopted on 15 March a decision setting the final envelope of EU support to Member States for school fruit and vegetables (€125.6 million) and school milk (€95.1 million) for the period from 1 August 2021 to 31 July 2022. The 2020-2021 budget for this programme to distribute fruit and vegetables and milk to schoolchildren is €245 million.
