The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, announced on Monday 22 February that the European Foreign Affairs Ministers had given their political agreement to sanction those responsible for the coup d’état on 1 February in Myanmar, a coup which they condemned in their conclusions.
