The European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) was due to adopt its opinion on the agreement on future relations between the EU and the United Kingdom on Monday 1 February (see EUROPE B12628A6). The opinion, which takes the form of a letter, is intended for the AFET and INTA committees, which are due to give their opinion on the agreement on Thursday 4 February. At the time of going to press, the results of the final vote were not yet known.
