Member States approve revised negotiating mandate of Portuguese EU Council Presidency for ‘Climate Law’

27/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 27 January, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) approved the negotiating mandate of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU for the third session of interinstitutional negotiations (‘trilogues’) on the ‘Climate Law’. This mandate is based on a Presidency document, previously detailed in our articles (see EUROPE B12643A13), presenting possibilities for compromise with the European Parliament....
