Medicines shortages continue to worsen in Europe, according to Pharmaceutical Group of EU

As every year, the Pharmaceutical Group of the EU (PGEU) has published its members’ figures on medicine shortages in 26 Member States. According to the organisation, the situation is expected to be even worse than in 2019. 

According to its report, published on Wednesday 27 January, all responding countries reported shortages in the last 12 months, while 65% reported a worsening of the situation.
