ECB to launch a climate change centre to shape and steer its climate agenda

25/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 25 January, the European Central Bank (ECB) announced the creation of a new unit, operational from the beginning of 2021, to strengthen and consolidate the ECB's work on climate change. Made up of around ten people working with existing teams within the bank, this “climate change centre” will be used to “shape and steer the ECB's climate agenda” both internally and externally.
