The EU Council of Ministers adopted without debate, on Monday 25 January, the decision on the conclusion of an arrangement to extend the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the EU and Mauritania until mid-November 2021 (see EUROPE B12623A20, B12570A20).
This agreement provides significant fishing opportunities for the European fleet, targeting demersal and pelagic species as well as tuna and highly migratory species.
