European Commission adjusts 2021 budget to take into account Brexit Adjustment Reserve

22/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 22 January, the European Commission proposed an increase of €4.24 billion (€4 billion at 2018 prices) in the EU budget for 2021 to incorporate funds from the Brexit Adjustment Reserve. This will ensure that sufficient resources will be available this year to help EU countries deal with the immediate effects of the UK’s exit from the EU.
