Leaders of G20 reiterated their support for WTO reforms at their virtual meeting on 21-22 November.
In particular, they supported the Riyadh initiative, which lists a series of principles to be taken into account in the context of WTO reform, such as transparency, fair competition, open markets and non-discrimination. The participants also stressed the desire to move towards a “level playing field” in their joint declaration at the end of the summit.
