European Parliament Committee on Economic Affairs divided over creation of an independent European ethics body

MEPs on the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) were divided, on Thursday 19 November, when they voted on their opinion for the Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO) on the creation of an independent ethical body at EU level (see EUROPE B12338A7).
