European Commission approves two geographical indications from Spain and Hungary

18/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 17 November, the European Commission announced that it has approved applications for the inclusion of ‘Mollete de Antequera’ from Spain in the register of protected geographical indications (PGI) and ‘Szomolyai rövidszárú fekete cseresznye’ from Hungary in the register of protected designations of origin (PDO). ‘Mollete de Antequera’ is a bread originating from the province of Málaga, in the south of Spain.
